Ben Pritchard, Marketing Manager – Central Services
I started with Saint-Gobain back in June 2010 on the
Management Trainee Scheme. Having been selected from a pool
of over 5,000 applicants I immediately understood the
opportunity before me. I was placed in our Leamington
branch where I was taught everything I needed to know and
more about the building industry. I was asked to present to a
board of individuals which included a Regional Director and
the Regional HR manager, who realised I had a flare for
marketing. I subsequently moved to Central Services in Binley
to help with the 175 celebration marketing campaign for six
I've been in Marketing ever since. I started as an
Online Marketing Executive, and then progressed to General
Marketing Executive. After a year in this role I was promoted
to the role of Marketing Manager, which I'm extremely proud
of. I've received a huge amount of support from my
managers and peers who have encouraged me to expand my
horizons and learn new skills.
I successfully completed a CIM Marketing course with
the full backing of Jewson in August 2012.
In 2014 I started a new role within the Marketing Team
looking after the Customer Experience. Within this role I am
responsible for managing the customer feedback loop.
Without all of the support I've received in my roles, I
don't believe I'd be where I am today.
