Solar Thermal Systems

Solar power can heat your supply of water, using a solar cylinder and heat-exchanger, reducing reliance upon an electric or gas boiler. A 'solar fluid' is circulated through a closed circuit of pipes in the panels, accumulating solar heat which is then transferred into a hot-water tank. Just as the inside of a conservatory can quickly feel extremely hot even on a cold day, solar thermal systems do not rely on ambient warmth to accumulate heat. The systems are easy to install and maintain, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 400Kg per home, per annum.
