Jonjo O'Neill

Jewson is pleased to announce its partnership with top trainer and legendary jockey Jonjo O'Neill, in a three year deal that reflects our commitment to elite sports.

O'Neill, who has built up a prominent reputation as one of the best trainers in National Hunt racing, experienced his greatest triumph during his partnership with Dawn Run, the only horse to have won both the Champion Hurdle and the Gold Cup. He also guided Sea Pigeon to victory during the Champion Hurdle and secured another Gold Cup win on Alverton.

His first decade as a trainer saw him based at Penrith in Cumbria. However, over twenty years later and with a string of successes under his belt, O'Neill's stables are now based at Jackdaws Castle in Gloucestershire.

The state-of-the-art stables boast a complete range of training facilities, including an indoor school, solariums, equine pool, horsewalkers and a 500 acre turnout paddock to ensure that O'Neill's horses are trained to perfection. O'Neill's stable stars currently include Black Jack Ketchum, Exotic Dancer, Albertas Run and Butler's Cabin.
