Mortar Plasticiser

Mortar plasticiser is a liquid plasticising admixture used in bricklaying, plastering, and for rendering mortars to dramatically improve the durability, quality, and workability of mixes. Jewson’s range of plasticiser for mortar minimises cracking and crazing, improving the hydration process to produce high-quality plaster for brickworks, masonry, and coatings. We supply various building chemicals, including ready-to-use plasticising liquid admixture for convenience, concentrated mortar plasticiser for superior plasticising action, and a powder form as an alternative to lime. Air-entrained mixes produce enhanced working properties with a reduced demand for mixing water. Our concentrated mortar plasticiser treats up to 5 tons of cement and replaces lime in the mix to reduce the likelihood of efflorescence (salt formation). It also helps prevent frost damage during the curing process.
