The Catnic Cougar Open Back Cavity Wall Lintel Black is used in construction of 90-105mm cavity walls. It measures 1200 x 263mm (L x W). The product is made from galvanised steel and has a powder-coated finish. It is used to support masonry loads, timber floors and roof loads. This lintel is also suitable for 100-115mm inner leaf masonry. The built-in plaster key ensures effective bonding to smooth surfaces. The use of galvanised steel provides duplex corrosion and rust protection that ensures longevity in external applications. Insulation is also incorporated into the lintels design which helps in adjusting to temperature fluctuations efficiently. Duplex Corrosion Protection System: Manufactured from hot-dipped Galvanised steel to BS EN 10346:2009 plus coating tupe Z275. A coating of thermal setting polyester powder is then applied by electrostatic process, further protecting the lintel. Supplied with CFC and HCFC free insulation maximising their thermal efficiency and compliance with part L.
