The Catnic Cougar Timber Lintel consists of single element lintel with a sloping outer face and duplex corrosion protection, which provides built-in DPC. The product measures 1500 x 128 x 142mm (L x H x W) and is made from galvanised steel which is then powder coated for durability, and adds longevity to the product. All timber frame models must be secured with restraint clips and a batten to prevent lateral deflection (twist) during the building stage to endure the loading weight of 5kN. The timber lintel should be suitably prepped before construction.
