SOPRATHERM PL4060 PIR Insulated Plasterboard 2400 x 1200 x 65mm + 12.5mm (L x W x T) combines a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board with a 12.5mm tapered-edge plasterboard, providing insulation and a plasterboard lining in one product.
Designed for use in suitable internal wall and pitched roof applications, the board helps reduce heat loss while providing a surface ready for plaster finishing.
With a declared thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK for the PIR insulation, it can contribute towards achieving the required U-value, depending on the overall construction.
Combining insulation and plasterboard in a single board also reduces the need to install these materials separately, making it a practical option for insulating and dry lining walls and roofs.
