The Hammerite Direct To Rust Metal Paint 750ml Dark Green is a primer undercoat and topcoat that is designed with a formula that allows the primer to be directly applied onto a rusty metal. The paint when directly applied to the rusty metal prevents the metal from further rust because it contains an anti-corrosive pigment that gives additional barrier protection while in contact with atmospheric moisture. It gives a long lasting protection both inside out and is suitable for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The drying and recoat time is reduced to 4 hours. The product should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from sources of heat, ignition and direct sunlight. When the paint container is opened, proper care should be taken to ensure that it is resealed properly and kept upright to prevent leakage.
