The Simpson Strong-Tie Plasterboard Edge Bead provides reinforcement to the plasterboard edges. The product, available in silver colour, measures 3000 x 12.5 x 12mm (L x W x H), can be simply fixed to the wall with plaster debs nails. It is designed to minimize potential cracking, chipping and associated damage. The edge beads can be fixed by masonry nails or dabs of similar material. The perforated wing flush must be fixed to board, before applying the final skim coat. To reverse the bead, the wing must be fixed to the board’s inner surface.
