The Spike End Slate Hooks 100mm Length Black is an alternate fixing to clout nails that are used for fixing natural slates. The top edge of the slate fixed in a way that it is gripped under the top part of the hook. The return grip at the bottom of the hook holds the tail of the slate on top whereas the shank of the hook runs down along the side of the slates. The slate is held in place by four hooks, which holds one at the head, one at the tail and one on each side to support the slate from extreme wind.
