The U-shaped shackle would not come apart from the body of the lock unless the correct key is inserted. The shackle which has a diameter of 6mm is made up of hardened steel and is chrome plated. Also the double locking facility provides high security. The product has a bumper that protects the lock from damage when dropped so that the mechanism is not disturbed.
