The mortice locks is a deadlock that features a bolt which is operated by a key and is often used in conjunction with a nightlatch were as the sashlock features a bolt and latch, it is used with door handle . This 5 lever mortice lock works when the key is turned moving the 5 lever into position for the lock opening and is able to be opened with a key from outside. And this sashlocks have an anti-saw deadbolt, an anti-drill case and are pierced to accept both through furniture.
