Terms and Conditions

1.    Promoter: STARK Building Materials UK Limited trading as Jewson, Registered office: STARK Building Materials UK Limited, Merchant House, Binley Business Park, Harry Weston Road, Coventry CV3 2TT (Company Number: 01647362).

2.    This prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of STARK Building Materials UK Limited (or any other company within the STARK group), their agents or anyone else professionally connected with this prize draw.  

3.    Upon completion of the Did We Nail It? survey (the “Survey”) you will be given the opportunity to be entered into the monthly prize draw.  

4.    To enter the prize draw, simply complete the requested details on completion of the Survey.  Only one entry per person per month will be included.   The Promoter accepts no liability if incomplete details are provided and an entry does not get submitted into the prize draw.

5.    Each prize draw will run from the first day of a month at 00:00:01 hrs and entries must be received by 23:59:59 hrs on the final day of that month (the “Closing Date”).  Entries received after the Closing Date will not be valid for that prize draw but will instead be entered into the following month’s prize draw.  The Promoter accepts no liability for any entries received after a Closing Date not being entered into that month’s prize draw.

6.    The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault or which are not completed for any reason.

7.    The prize draw will take place monthly within 7 days of the relevant Closing Date.  A winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received by the Closing Date and this decision shall be final.  

8.    Each monthly winner will receive two hundred and fifty pounds (£250) Love2Shop vouchers (the “Prize”).

9.    The monthly winner will be notified by email or telephone (using the details provided at entry) within seven (7) days of the relevant prize draw and must provide a postal address to claim their Prize.  If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within three (3) days of being notified by the Promoter, then the Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

10.    The Prize will be delivered within four (4) weeks of the Closing Date for the relevant monthly prize draw so long as the winner has confirmed suitable delivery details with the Promoter.  

11.    The Prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. 

12.    The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.  The Promoter cannot be held responsible for failure to deliver as a result of industrial action or other circumstances beyond their control.  

13.    The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. 

14.    Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry.  The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. 

15.    In relation to this Promotion:
a.    Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by their staff or supplier’s negligence or for fraud.
b.    Subject to 15a, the Promoter does not accept responsibility for any fault, malfunction, damage, loss or disappointment suffered by a participant howsoever arising from accepting a Prize whether due to any error, omission or other cause by the Promoter or its employees, agents or others. 
c.    Subject to 15a, the Promoter is not responsible for any damage or loss caused to a participant (i) which is not reasonably foreseeable to the participant and to the Promoter when the participant agrees to these terms and conditions (which occurs automatically when the participant participates in this Promotion) or (ii) is reasonably foreseeable to the participant and to the Promoter when the participant agrees to these terms and conditions but is only indirectly related to the participant participating in this Promotion.
d.    Subject to 15a, the Promoter reserves the right to amend any element of this Promotion, or foreclose this Promotion and cannot be held responsible for failure to deliver for reasons beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to strike, lock-out, labour dispute, illness, act of God, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, war, riot, civil commotion, accident, epidemic or pandemic, malicious damage, fire, flood and/or storm, compliance with law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, breakdown of plant, machinery or transportation.  The Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to the participant as a result of any of these occurrences.
e.    The participant agrees to reimburse the Promoter in respect of any damages or any losses suffered by the Promoter resulting from any claim made by a third party in each case in respect of any matter arising from the participant’s participation in the Promotion in breach of these terms and conditions or from the participant’s violation of any applicable law or regulation. 
f.    Subject to 15a, if any details supplied by a participant are incorrect meaning that the Promoter is unable to notify a participant that a Prize has been awarded to them, the Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to contact the participant but the Promoter does not accept responsibility for any inability for whatever reason it is unable to make contact with the participant.  
 

16.    It is a condition of entry that the winners co-operate fully for publicity purposes if so required, which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.

17.    The name and county of the winner will be available by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Marketing Department, Merchant House, Binley Business Park, Harry Weston Road, Coventry, CV3 2TT or an email to marketing@jewson.co.uk within 30 days after the date of the Closing Date of the relevant prize draw.  

18.    The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose this prize draw without prior notice in the event that unforeseen circumstances make this unavoidable.  

19.    The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant and/or select an alternative winner in the event the Promoter believes that any entrant has contravened any of these terms and conditions.  

20.    Accepting a prize may give rise to a tax liability which will be the winner’s responsibility. 

21.    An entrant’s personal data will be used by the Promoter for the purposes of administering this prize draw.  The Promoter will only process a participant’s personal information in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and as set out in the Promoter’s privacy statement.

22.    The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
