The NOVIPro Steel One Piece Claw Hammer 20oz is used mainly for pounding nails into, or extracting nails from, wood. The hammer is constructed from a forged steel head and a handle for fine grip. The head of the hammer is made of single-piece forged heat-treated steel and the handle is the integral part which fits the hammer head. One side of the head is flat with a smooth or textured surface that is used for pounding on the surface. The rounded end of the claw, in conjunction with the handle, is used to gain leverage while pulling out a nail from any surface. The claw hammer has a head that curves down and splits in the middle forming a "V" shape. It serves as an all-purpose tool around the home prying nailed boards apart.
